Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the GNR 2016 for a cause very close to my heart along with a lot of others. Stephen Thompson (Thoma)  sadly passed away in Dec 2011 due to a rare illness called Giant Cell Myocarditis. Please visit www.stephenthompsonfoundation.org the site gives you all the information about Giant Cell Myocarditis  and what the charity are hoping to achieve.

Thoma was a child hood friend of my husband. From the moment I met Thoma he was warm and welcoming.

Over the years Thoma was always there for his mates as they were for him. They were  5 strong tight knitted buddies who watched each other grow from boys to men. I witnessed the unique bond from when they were 20 nearly men ha ha. Thoma was a loyal and great friend to all he knew and in my household alone brings great memories but also such sadness at the belief he is no longer with us.

Thoma was lucky enough to have a beautiful daughter and loving wife, mother and father who will never forget the fond memories they must have brought to all over the years x
