Dear Brothers and Sisters,
 
Salaam Alaykum and Ramadhan Mubarak 

We are once again blessed to welcome this glorious month of Ramadhan.  A month where we work to attain closeness to Allah (SWT).  During our fast, we experience the hunger and thirst felt by million around the world who don’t have the comfort we have.  They are dying of starvation and a lack of sanitation and clean drinking water.

This really made me stop, think and listen.  For us, when Ramadhan is over we can get back to our normal routine, but the undernourished will still have to console their children who are crying out due to hunger and malnutrition.

That’s why we need your help to raise as much as possible by donating a sandwich.  To us a sandwich is not a big thing. It costs us on average £2 and we don’t even think twice about spending that money.

Brothers and sisters....just think……

By donating the cost of a sandwich (£2) you will:

·         Provide Iftaar  for two days to a family of 4

·         Provide Clean Water to a family for a week

By Donating a months’ worth of Sandwich’s (£60) you will:

·         Provide iftaar for 3 families (4 people per family basket) for the month of Ramadhan

·         Provide Clean Drinking Water for 2 months

But, most of all by donating a sandwich you will put a smile on the face of those children who have seen nothing but tears and work towards community togetherness in the way of Allah (SWT)

So please, in this month of giving, donate generously and make this a Ramadhan to remember.  We ask you to forward this to EVERYONE you know and join us is in making a difference.
