Hi, 

Our child has been through so much in her young life.  She was diagnosed with FA at birth and has taken many operations, tests, hip casts, harnesses, a bone marrow transplant, isolation, catching up on school work and catching up with friends, all in her stride with a smile on her face and absolute dignity.   We all love her so much and are so very proud of the young person we have in our lives.   Her siblings adore her too, they are also wee superstars and understand more than we ever realised.  Kids are smart! Anyhow,  we are celebrating 10 years with this wonderful little person and are pinning hopes on more successful treatments in the future.  The more research, the better the outcomes over time.  With that in mind, Mark is doing a once in a lifetime Iron Man - a massive event by anyone's standards- Although Mark might say that it is nothing compared to what Hannah has been through, or what her siblings have been through when they saw their sister so sick.    I don't know, I haven't even mastered couch to 5k yet, so I think it's amazing
