On 19th July 2015 Saul "Stavro" Fabian, Richard "Kristatos" Cartwright and James "Columbo" Cartwright will be driving from the UK to Mongolia on the Mongol Rally. Our car, bought for £250, started out life as a 998cc Nissan Micra K10. Over the next 3 months we will be lightly ruggedizing it and more importantly transforming it into James Bond's Lotus Esprit Turbo Q'd with skis. The car will be put through the toughest of tests on a mission half way around the world. Like any great 007 story we'll blast from London over to Prague behind the Iron Curtain before cruising down to Istanbul, then onto the Black Sea coast.  In Tbilisi, the lavish capital of Georgia, we'll have to be conspicuous to fit in. A container ship, the Professor Gul, awaits us in Baku taking us across the Caspian Sea to Turkmenistan. The Karakum desert, the Altai Mountains and vast Mongol wilderness must be conquered before our final reckoning, or so we thought, in Ulan Bator. The final twist in the plot: a sprint to Ulan Ude in Siberia where the story will meet its crushing end in a Russian scrap yard.

Please give generously to the cause, not because we're suffering (apart from Richard who really does feel at home at the Casino de Monte Carlo) but because the Bobath chairty provides amazing care to children who may not get the chance to go on crazy adventures. This will be the trip of a lifetime and we hope the stupidity of it will raise a smile in the staff doing such incredible work.
