Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you know we have had some wonderful nights, some laughs, some tears and great entertainment watching the lastest WB film releases, we have tried to put the fun into FUNdraising, with your support and generosity we have raised a fantastic amount which is truly making a difference to these children's lives. Below are two messages of thanks and an update on how this money is being used and future plans.

You have all been so amazingly supportive - more than I, and they, could ever have imagined and I wanted to say a massive thank you as this is very close to my heart and means everything that you have helped them so much.  Helen (WB)

Well things are finally starting to come together in the village we have been given a price for the building work which is £3000. This is not including material as it works out cheaper if we buy the materials ourselves. The villagers have also agreed to work on the project as this keeps the price down & gives them a sense of pride as they have contributed to the new build.

We are going to buy a village tractor with some of the money given to the charity from WB; not only is this essential for the school building but during harvest time the villagers can hire it a fraction of the cost they pay now. It will also support the women's group develop their vegetable garden.

I will keep you posted on the development of this & get pictures of the process.

We have just employed a new teacher on a 6 months probation period.

We also continue to sponsor the children's schooling and providing teaching equipment.
