Story
ShabbatUK is coming to Leeds Campus again and its going to be amazing!!!
After last year's success, Jsoc, Chaplaincy, Chabad and Aish are joining forces again to create the best Shabbat experience for students in Leeds!
Starting with a Mega Challah Bake at the Leeds University Union on Thursday, students will shape their own Challah and learn all about it, some for the first time ever. Friday night will include a big candle-lighting, Kabbalat Shabbat and a huge Shabbat dinner with a sushi starter and a four course dinner. Shabbat day will be packed with services, Kiddush, a big Shabbat lunch, games and fun ending with Seudah Shlishit and a musical Havdalah. A bus will then transport students over to North Leeds to join the Jewish community for a Motzaei Shabbat concert.
Jewish students in Leeds are excited and looking forward to this weekend and we are expecting many more students to participate in the Shabbat experience than would usually.
Please contribute generously to help make this all happen.
Thanking you in advance :-)
