One of the main aims of the latin Link project in Arequpia, Peru is to increase the size of the existing church building.An additional focus for my team is to support the church with their ongoing activities and ministries. In particular, the church are keen for some help with the children and young adults work. There is a council owned concrete football pitch opposite the church which my team can use for different events. The team will also help support a breakfast programme and homework club, which is run by the mother church situated a short bus journey away. 

Secondly my team will be based in Lima, the captial. Therer is a church currently meeting in a small building made out of light ‘pre-fab’ materials. One of the main aims of my team is to help the church in the construction of a new building. This will initially involve helping to take down the existing walls, break up the existing floor, dig the foundations, build the columns and then hopefully get as far as beginning to build the new walls.

My team will also support the church through evangelistic events such as community outreach, including open-air meetings and sports afternoons. The church would also like the team to be involved in current ministries within the church, especially with the children and young people.
