Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
After a particularly quiet Xmas night out Angus Robertson and Archie MacCalman of Sleat Community Trust decided to attempt the Three Peaks Challenge. Alcohol was not part of this decision process ;.)
The Three Peaks Challenge consists of climbing to the highest points in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) all in 24 hours. We are doing this for Lucky 2 B Here a Skye based charity which installs heart defibrillators in public places. The charity has recently installed three machines in Sleat with one being located in Sleat Community Trust's community shop. This is our way of thanking the good folk of Lucky 2 B Here and with your donations to purchase and role out further machines around Scotland..helping to save lives. We will be ably assisted in our challenge by Chris Marsh who will drive us around, assist with oxygen and administer Scottish energy drinks (Irn Bru and Whisky). Now we have reached our original total we are collecting any further donations for the Sleat Lunch Club which helps the elderly in our parish get out and have a hot meal at a local hotel in the company of their peers.
