We have visited Malawi with The Raven Trust and are now commited to improving the services available at Ekwendeni, Embangweni and Livingstonia.

In September 2013 we visited the sites in Ekwendeni,Embangweni and Livingstonia and we were able to take lots of new equipment and resources to these sites,only in Ekwendeni is there a working dental team so we are very much needed to support them.In Embangweni a new dental therapist had just started when we visited so we were able to help him sort out the surgery and to commence the much needed dental service unfortunately this therapist has left to further his studies and so the surgery lies empty.In Livingstonia there is also an empty surgery and no dental personnel to run it we hope with our continued support the hospital will be able to employ someone in the near future. During our stay in Malawi in 2013 we visited some rural clinics and with our new portable dental chair and extraction forceps bought with the money we have raised we managed to help a huge number of people who had been suffering dental pain for a long time.We hope to continue to raise more funds so that we can continue to help improve the dental health in Northern Malawi.
