Smile Malawi celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a Gala Ball at the Manor Hotel in Gravesend on 8 November. It was a wonderful night and we are very grateful to everyone who came and made it so special. Lots of you could not come but wanted to join in the celebrations by making a donation so I have set up this page just for that.

Smile Malawi was launched on 29 October 2004 and we started building soon afterwards. The original orphanage building was finished in 2006 and we opened with 11 resident children. There are now 38 children all rescued from a life of extreme poverty and destitution as well as 21 staff who now have an income and a better life.

Some of our children are nearing the end of school and we hope to help them in their further education or work. Please help us continue to help these children as they grow up and make their way in the world.
