Thanks for visiting my page!

I have worked for Hope Pastures for 13 years and we recently rescued 3 foals who were due for slaughter. We were asked to take them at the last minute and although we are really full,we couldnt let them down.

 It has stretched our resources, funds and energy to the limit and we need funds to have all 3 foals Microchipped, Passported and their first 2 Flu & Tetenus vaccines. This is being done by our Vets on Tuesday the 18th of February.

 Before they are passported and chipped, they require names!

I am asking people to donate whatever they can afford to my page, and make a comment with the foals proposed name.

 There are 3 foals-

Piebald Colt

Grey Colt

Piebald Filly

When you donate and choose a name, please say which foal you are choosing a name for and then the name, ie 'Piebald Colt- MAGPIE'

I hope to raise enough to fund the Chippin, passporting and vaccinating for each foal, which costs around £100 each.

If by a miracle we reach this target, and get even more donations, any excess will be used to pay for another 5 foals who are having their passports microchips and vaccines done on the 18th too. These foals already have names-Lennie, May, Scrumpy, Jack and Felix. But we still need donations to cover the approximately £800 vets charge for next week!!

On the afternoon of Tuesday the 18th February we will put all of the names in a hat and draw out the winners, we may even think of a way to let the foals pick out the names themselves ..:)
