Finlay is abeautiful 4 year old horse who was first abandoned, then hit by a car and left for dead.

He was treated for his injuries and made a full recovery but it when the time came to castrate him it was found he has a retained testicle, meaning a much bigger and more expensive operation would be needed. Sadly by this time his rescuers had absolutely no funds left and had made the decision to have this beautiful horse put to sleep. The operation can cost between £800-1000 and without it he would live a solitary life as he could not be mixed with other ponies without either fighting or reproducing.

 Things were looking bleak for Finn until Hope Pastures were asked to help as a last resort. There are so many stallions and colts around needing homes and the rescue centres are full up .But as Finn is such a fighter and has come through so much already Hope Pastures decided that they couldn't  let him be put to sleep and deserved the chance of a happy and long life with horsey friends and a loving home.

I want to help Hope Pastures, who I work for, to cover the cost of this vets costs by asking you all to donate what you can to help Finn. The Charity is losing funds on a weekly basis and have taken  a big leap of faith in taking Finn in and committing to help him.

 Finn is a kind, calm and beautiful horse who has really been through a bad time, so if anyone can help I'm sure Finn will really appreciate your kindness :)
