Fundraising for Start Small
Story
First I want to say welcome and thank you for taking a little bit out of your time to visit my website and read about my fundraising this year! As many of you know I left a big piece of me in Kenya a few years ago and I still try to help us much as I can from where I am. For years we have been fundraising with Start Small for "Feed a Family for Christmas" and it has been going amazing thanks to many of you, and hopefully it will continue on successfully this year as well. Again, thank you so much!
---- This year I am focusing on fundraising for 2 things!
1. Field Trip for the children to Lake Nakuru National Park!
2. Food Hampers with food for an entire family that will last at least four days!
1. Field Trip for the children to Lake Nakuru National Park!
I hope you will get as excited as I am!! It can be hard to understand how very little these kids actually have. Some of our children have never even been outside their little neighbourhood before. These unfortunate kids deserve everything and this year we wanted to do something out of the ordinary for them! We had this idea to take them on a trip so they´ll be able to create a very special Christmas memory they'll always remember and treasure. Start Small will be taking the children to Lake Nakuru National Park for a fun educational field trip and we need your help! The landscape in the park is beautiful and we cant wait to see the kids big eyes and big smiles when they for the first time see rhinos, zebras, buffalos, lions, and so much more. We would be forever grateful for your donations to make this trip happen for our children that we love so much. They will absolutely love it!
2. Food Hampers for the entire family delivered on the 23rd of December
As our previous years, it will include basics such as maize, flour, sugar, salt and some fun goodies including sweets and biscuits. The food should last for un entire family for at least four days. These people are extremely poor and they need our help! What they need the most is food. For them to have food delivered on their door is a dream they never dared to imagine. Everyday is a struggle for them, "how will I feed my family today". They would be forever grateful for your donations!
