Story

HELLOOO EVERYONE !! - Thats all you dog lovers and non dog lovers. TO ALL HELLO.

Everybody. Ive decided to raise money for The Edinburgh Dog and Cat home - where my family and I picked up our beautiful husky Sas.

Would you like to hear the story of Sas? You would!? Excellent. So Sas is a stunning Siberain husky with crystal blue eyes ( that look through your soul!) Because of her beauty she was chosen by a not so great ( I'd like to use other words) family that left her on the streets. She took shelter in the welcoming, hospitable Edinburgh Dog and Cat home. Many fell in love with her instantly but again and again she was brought back (5 times) . Her beauty captivated people who did not see her true nature. Huskies are wild and free-spirited - a breed that many do not understand or have the time for. I read an article the other day outlining the significant rise in Siberian Huskies handed into dog shelters since Game of Thrones. That says it all really doesn't it? Sas was difficult at first - food aggresive and snappy. But fair enough, considering. BUT through unconditional love and encouragement from us, a year later she is trusting, loyal, affectionate and happier. She walks off leash now - running free - able to do what is in her roots. We continue to learn about her and she is continueing to learn about us and our ways. She is worth the efforts - anyone who has met her will AMEN this. I LOVE HER.

Edinburgh Dog and Cat home offer salvage to all those dogs like Sas (and cats!) that are thrown aside when they fail to fit in or work with the lives of their owners. It provides a pause and a temporary home until these poor wee pets find the right family.

SO if that didn't pull on your heart and purse strings then maybe me, walking on all fours around Edinburgh for the day ( on leash - with my owner Ally) like a HOUND will. Look out for me on Arthur's seat, howling on the 7th of May.

I'll take photos and videos and Sas will be there at some point - probably embarrassed. My little brother has begged me not to, my dad has pleaded I don't poo on the streets and my gran is just confused.
