Story
Our mom, Steph recently lost her battle with cancer. The care she received at Mary Stevens in those crucial last days was beyond anything we expected. She received personal, genuinely caring support both mentally and physically at the most difficult time any of us will ever endure.
Care of this quality costs money and the NHS only covers 20% of MSHs costs which leaves a shortfall of £2m/annum. On that basis, moms care would have cost them thousands for the time she was there.
Mom was firmly of the opinion that no one made a fuss after she was gone, but she would wholeheartedly have supported this, so in lieu of flowers, any donation made here will be gratefully received.
Don't forget to gift aid any donations so the exchequer has to stump up another 25%
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THE UPDATE... Giftaid is being taken off a lot of the donations because of the language used. Hundreds of pounds will now not go to the charity because people are making it sound like group donations.
Thanks a lot,
Greg and Tina Dickens
