Post-Marathon Update
Team - a quick note to let you know I successfully ran the London Marathon on Sunday, 26th April, completing the run in 4 hours and 31 minutes...and not walking once! Here are some photos (not in order!)
A huge thank you to all of you for your support along the way - we raised over £5,000 and still counting!

Welcome to my fundraising page, Stepping Up. A big thanks to all those that have supported me to date - especially Singapore Airlines, who have arranged it so I fly in comfort all the way from Australia, ready for the big event! As my thank you to Singapore Airlines, I've donated £500.
With less than a week to go, I'm now reducing my training dramatically, focusing on rest and an increasing my carbohydrate in-take.
I'm 'stepping up' to the London Marathon to make a difference - for personal and philanthropic reasons:
- Personal - to get, stay and continually improve my health and well-being - physical and mental, the latter a natural, secondary benefit of the former.
- Philanthropic - because I can raise, with your support, a heap of money that can affect people's lives. In this case, for finding ways to treat things like Macular Degeneration (dry) which currently has no treatment and affects a member of my family. And all I have to do is run! Easy!!
As you've read this far, please spend just 2 more minutes to sponsor me. Thanks heaps.
If you'd like to join Fight for Sight's location along the route, please email Luisa. If you can't make it along and want to watch the action, you can watch it live here.
