We raise funds to support patients with kidney disease.

Story

As many of you may know, in January 2008 Steve was diagnosed with end stage kidney failure. Everything is now fine thanks to a transplant he received later that year (from his wonderful sister Sarah!) and carried out at Guy’s Hospital.

During this time Steve got to see close up all of the wonderful work that is done at the hospital, both by the clinical staff but also by the Kidney Patient Association. This can be a very difficult time for the patients and the support that the KPA gives makes a real difference to the patient’s lives. The support they give varies from the small (providing TVs in the clinic waiting room to help the time go faster) to the big (helping to fund research at Guy’s).

We’re sure you’ll understand that this is a charity close to both our hearts and we thank you for your support at this special time.
