I'm about to do something which I never dreamed I would, having a built in fear of heights! At a recent meeting when we were all desperately trying to think of something new and exciting to do to raise money for the Animal Home, one of my colleagues mentioned 'Sky Dive.' Before I could stop myself, my mouth opened and I volunteered. Since then, I have been in a surreal situation, but now that I am writing this page, it's all beginning to seem rather tangible. Kath and I are jumping on 22nd July and hope to land softly at Bridlington Airfield. I'm scared witless, but will do it!

 

The York Animal Home costs £1500 A DAY to run and we receive no money from Government, Local Council or RSPCA HQ. We have to raise all this cash ourselves. In the current economic climate, we are struggling, with donations down and homeless animals up.
