100th Nijmegen 100 mile march, 12 January 2017
We retrain wounded servicemen and women to empower veterans to start new careers

Story

The training season has started and we have already seen 100 cadets attend training. Training weekend 4 has now come and gone and cadets are completing some serious miles.

Over the coming months we will train hard, step up the pace, count the steps and raise money for this wonderful charity.

Cadets have particpated in the 50 mile RAF 2day event at RAF Cosford in April to qualify for the final Nijmegen march. All cadets successfully completed the march and earned their medal.

Following this cadets will continue to add to the mileage and take on the 46 mile Pathfinder challenge from RAF Wyton, all in under 20 hours.

Finally, the cadets will make their way to Nijmegen to participate in the 100th anniversary 100 mile march alongside other military and civilian participants.

Staff will also be taking on their own individual challenges; SAC Simon Ryder will be participating in this year's Great North Run - will all proceeds and miles being added on to our fundraising efforts.

Project officer, Flying Officer W White takes on the Guildford Triathlon in late May, swimming, cycling and running her way around around the gruelling course and raising money for this wonderful cause.

A key member of the British Military contingent support team, Flt Lt B White will also be aiding us in our efforts by running the 46 mile Pathfinder challenge

All fundraising goes directly to the charity and we urge everyone that is a UK tax payer to submit a gift aid declaration with their donation.
