Story

I’m raising money in aid of a worthwhile local childrens charity called the Leeds Children’s Charity.

About the Charity

Some children in Leeds don’t have the chance to have happy childhood memories. For them, poverty, an unstable home life or neglect means they’ll never have a childhood holiday to remember. That’s where LCC comes in…brightening children’s lives.

For well over 100 years, the LCC has been raising funds so that children who suffer from poverty, neglect, abuse, learning difficulties, illness, or are themselves young carers, get the chance to visit the seaside, make friends and have fun.

My challenge in a nutshell...

On May 19th myself and a team of 14 other fundraisers will embark on an epic challenge. A 75 mile bike ride from Silverdale, Morecambe to Leeds in a day. Been no more than willing novices the hilly ride will be a grueling test of physical fitness and endurance and should take between 9 - 10 hours of constant cycling.

Please help to make my challenge as memorable as possible by donating as much as you can. It’s a cliche, but as LCC is a small charity every pound really does makes a difference.

Thank you for your generous support!

Chris
