In 2011 my church had nominated A Rocha UK as "Mission of the Month".  The speaker who came from A Rocha UK threw out a challenge - what were individual Christian's doing to safeguard our wonderfully created world.

Well adopting a greener life-style can be a challenge.   I recycle whenever I can, love composting, always turning off lights and wary of using too much water.  But I use the car far too much, purchase too many packaged products and should probably take more time to consider the environmental impact of some of my spending.   So a long way to go.

However as I have started slowly getting some speaking engagements on gardening topics, one thing I can do is donate 10% of my proceeds from talks to A Rocha UK.  So this is what this site is all about.  It may take a while to reach my target, but at least it's a start.
