MilesforMel is now in its 3rd year, a cycling event organised by and for Unilever UK people, in memory of a dear colleague Mel, who sadly passed away from Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC) a very rare form of cancer, to raise funds for the Get A Head Charity. 

We are the 13 members of the #TeamBrand - Mark, Jo, George, Sarah, Ashley, Giovanni, Amy, Gavin, Peter, Mike, Dani, and Joseph & Fanny – most of whom are doing MilesforMel for the very first time! And by joining in with our sales colleagues there will be almost 100 cyclists riding from Leatherhead to Gilwern in South Wales (Mel’s home town) - covering 180 miles in 2 days!

As we get stuck into our training for the big ride it would be great if you can show your support to help us raise funds for such a great charity. Get A Head provides support and research into head and neck cancers and through donations Unilever people have been able to support them with the MilesforMel events and we want to make this year our biggest contribution yet.
