Following the recent tragic and sudden death of Andrew Feather his work colleagues and friends from RUFC wished to participate in an event in his memory for a charity that was close to his heart.
A group of Andrew’s work colleagues from Telstar in Dewsbury and close friends from Halifax RUFC have decided to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Saturday 17th May 2014, in memory of Andrew to raise money for a charity he actively supported during his life.
Andrew was an
extremely popular work colleague. He was helpful, polite and good fun to be
around. He always asked how you were and what you were up to. He had a genuine
interest in his colleagues wellbeing and the door to his office was always open
if you wanted to discuss anything. A true
gentleman.
Andrew was a much loved Son, Father, Brother and Partner.
His work colleagues and friends are getting together to complete this 24 mile walk in memory of Andrew. The words below describe Andrew to all that knew him.
“He was a loving person to everyone that knew him.
He was gentle, caring and a good sportsman with a fantastic life ahead of him which has been devastatingly cut short.
He will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched and that is many many people”.
