This event is a key fund-raising event to support the children of Brainhouse Academy, a school supporting 900 plus children in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya.

This Year Rhys and I are increasing our miles from 12 to 28 miles.  We are kitted out with our padded shorts to help with the sore butts! Millie is joining us this year and will be aiming to complete the 12 miles.  As she hates cycling and her bike this will be an excellent achievement. 

I am always amazed by the work that ACEF are doing to support these children.  Not by giving them 'things' but teaching them, providing life skills and trades so they can sustain themselves and others. 

We are supporting this as I want to see this work continue.  I understand that this bike ride is focused on raising the funds to continue feeding the children, £300 feeding five children for over a full year !! What a gift! Then the further funds can go into these other projects.
