Story

At last the Channel Challenge is on!

Natasha (Horticulturist at Shepreth Wildlfe Park) and myself, Rebecca (Curator at Shepreth Wildlfe Park) alongside fellow colleagues:

Lynn Whitnall (Director of Paradise Wildlife Park), Nic Masters (Vet for ZSL Whipsnade Zoo), Dante Mantella (Nic's training buddy) and Laura Tonge (Paignton Zoo Environmental Park)

Will be taking the plunge in a Channel Relay attempt on 28th August 2012 in a bid to raise money for conservation!

Natasha and I will be raising money on behalf of SWCC for the Shepreth Hedgehog Hospital Appeal and worldwide tiger conservation (through 21st Century Tiger and Wildlife Vets International)

In order to really make you dig deep in your wallets a few of us have also signed up to swim 3 of the Great British Gas Swims:

26.05.12: River Thames
24.06.12: Lake Windemere
01.07.12: Salford Quays

... and just in case that wasn't enough

23.07.12: 2 hour Dover Harbour qualifier!

Crazy ... a little!

About the charity

Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity was established in 2011 to help fundraise for important work both home and abroad. The organisation raises funds and educates visitors about species which are threatened with extinction, and also plays a major role in funding the Shepreth Hedgehog Hospital.
