Story

Thank you for choosing to sponsor Jack and Jamie's Walk to Marseille! Here you can support the CUP Foundation.

The CUP Foundation focuses on the research of cancer of unknown primary causes and the treatment of those affected by it. Cancer of unknown primary (CUP) is a form of cancer that has an untraceable origin and is therefore more difficult to treat. The CUP Foundation does unbelievable work in an area of cancer that is recognised as being under-researched given how often it is diagnosed: 1 in 20 new cancer’s diagnosed in the UK are cases of CUP.

Thank you so much for your generosity.

About the charity

Cancer of Unknown Primary affects about 10,000 people in the UK each year. To be told that you, or a loved one, has cancer but that the type is unknown - information that is fundamental to treatment - is a double blow. We offer information & support; and promote research into improved diagnosis.
