Thanks for taking the time to visit the Lily Connection JustGiving page. I am a very fortunate individual. I have grown up with love and laughter. My family is the reason for that. I recently heard about human trafficking and was shocked to discover that there are more slaves today than at any other time in Human History. These are men, women and children exploited through manual and sexual labour against their will.   As I go about my normal daily routine, this subject keeps coming back into my consciousness. I know I am supposed to do something about it. All the ladies on my Grandma's side of the family have been given ten pounds. They have been challenged to use this ten pounds, either to spread the word about human trafficking and the work of the A21 Campaign. http://www.thea21campaign.org or to turn that money into something more in any way they can. Baking, knitting, whatever. and to give that money via this page to the A21 Campaign to help them fight this injustice. The team is known as The Lily Connection in memory of my Grandma Lily, with whom all the women on our team have a connection. Do what you can and let's spread some of our love and laughter to those whose lives may be short on both.
