The earthquake has affected many parts of Nepal mainly the central region including Kathmandu, Gorkha, Lamjung, Dhading, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Sindhuli, Sindhuli, Bhaktapur, Patan and Manang. At the latest count 5,000 lives have been lost and it is feared that the final number will be over 10,000. Many people remain unaccounted for and thousands have lost their homes.
We are inviting donations to aid the disaster hit regions and FSI will be working with trusted partner charities and NGO’s including Freedom Matters, Right4Chidren, The Bulldog Trust and the Pahar Trust to ensure that the relief effort is effectively targeted and that the money gets to where it is most needed.
