Fundraising for Macmillan Caring Locally - http://www.macmillanlocal.org/ - which has provided invaluable support in so many ways since Tim's diagnosis of cancer in October 2015.  

Macmillan has provided home visits, nurses, counsellors, specialist financial and benefits advisers, equipment and round the clock support. Tim has also spent several weeks in the Christchurch Unit which is set up for patients and their families to spend quality time together in a beautiful setting.  The visitors lounge includes lots of toys, games and entertainments such as wide screen TV and Xbox 360 plus children's toys, a tea and coffee bar and a garden, aviary and Koi pond. All this is funded by charity and means that families like us can come together in a peaceful and positive environment.


We are holding a number of events, including a sponsored walk, a quiz and fun night and a bake day to raise money for the charity. We are hoping you can make at least one of the events or all of them if you are free.
