Story

From the 21st - 30th June 2012, I will be travelling to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Amnesty International. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world and highest mountain in Africa at 5895m. The trek will take 10 days including acclimatisation with the team of other climbers, guides and medical personnel. Not only will it be a great challenge but I am hoping to raise £4000 for Amnesty International.

Amnesty International are a campaigning organisation whose purpose is to protect individuals wherever justice, fariness, freedom and truth are denied. They have over 3 million members worldwide and their core values are international solidarity, effective action for the individual victim, global coverage, the universality and indivisibility of human rights, impartiality and independence, and democracy and mutual respect.

All donations to help this amazing charity will be much appreciated.
