Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Here are the details of why we have set this up.
At the age of 3 weeks old Chris's son, my nephew Tommy was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis which is a rare multi-system genetic disease that causes benign tumours to grow in the brain and on other vital organs such as the kidneys, heart, eyes, lungs, and skin
Children affected by this condition can also have epilepsy, learning disabilities, autism, spectrum disorder and renal problems.
More information about Tuberous Sclerosis can be found at http://www.tuberous-sclerosis.org/
The Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA) provides vital practical support for families, and funds research to find a cure for this potentially devastating condition.
