Firefly's primary concern at the moment is youth education for Syrian refugees. Firefly works with families helping them to design their own programmes as well as providing children whose lives have been turned upside down by the conflict opportunities to return to education through integrated learning and play.

Many of you will know I've just returned from four research visits to the countries neighbouring Syria to find out how language education helps refugees build resilience in their new homes. What I saw there were families desperate to get their children back into safe learning environments where they can access quality education to start rebuilding their lives.
