Story

We are the Toumazis boys (Tom, Chris, Gabriel), and we are running the London Marathon 2016 to raise money for ChildLine.

ChildLine is a free 24-hour counselling service for children. It is a vitally important service (its trained volunteers spoke to over 1.2 million children last year alone), and every year it relies on support from people like you to keep going.

We are running for ChildLine because we believe that every child deserves someone to talk to. If you believe so too, or just like the idea of the three of us panting our way around the city (equally valid), please show us your support. Big or small, every donation counts. Thank you!

ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC
