Dear Friends of Transaid!
Good quality transport is often unavailable or unaffordable in developing countries, resulting in life-threatening delays in reaching appropriate healthcare. Pregnant women are especially vulnerable to such delays. Transaid creates innovative transport solutions which improve access to basic services. In last year our emergency transport programmes in Uganda, Zambia, Madagascar and Nigeria have recruited and trained over 1,200 volunteer emergency transport drivers, transported more than 8,800 people living in rural areas to healthcare facilities and equipped almost 500 community health workers with bicycles and training.
This year we are hoping to raise £25,000 to achieve even more! Please support our appeal!
You can make an individual donation via text - TRAS99 £5 to 70070 to donate £5 (you can donate £1 to £10 from your mobile)! All messages are free on all networks and 100% goes to Transaid. Please remember to add Gift Aid.
Thank you for your generous support!
