The Bournemouth Leukaemia Fund (BLF) was set up in 1984 by Professor Terry Hamblin and Dr David Oscier, and support from patients, their families and friends, and the local community has played a vital role in funding our research.
Laboratory research and clinical trials increasingly improve the quality of life and survival of patients locally and worldwide, but are costly to perform.
In the current economic climate, we rely more than ever on donation to BLF to supplement research grants and we are grateful for all local support.
