We are a small sales team working at
Thomson Reuters in Dublin and will partake in and organise a number of different events from 7th Sept to 15th Oct as part of the Thomson Reuters Foundation Ambassador Challenge. The challenge is for 11 shortlisted teams from TR offices around the world to raise awareness about the Thomson Reuters
Foundation within their offices, as well as raise funds for the scholarship scheme to the Foundation’s annual conference, Trust Women. Trust Women is committed to finding real solutions to empower women and is the world’s leading forum for fighting
slavery and trafficking.

Our main event will be a cycle from coast to  coast which will take us 250km from Dublin to Doolin in Co. Clare (not an easy feat for most of us whose last outing on a bike was on a Black Diamond mountain bike at the age of 14). From Doolin we will most likely be transferred to the nearest hospital or country vet - whoever has the strongest painkilling drugs.

On a serious note, we know that we are very fortunate people - we live in peace, safety and comfort with our spouses and children and we want to use our good health and fortune to help combat those issues which stop others from living in the same safety and security.
