Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've spent a year sitting on my backside - working (professionally and academically), eating, drinking etc and so when the opportunity arose to run the London Marathon for a Children's charity (https://www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk) that focuses on supporting children with acquired brain injury via The Light Fund, then I jumped at the chance and thought about it later............ Easy decision, especially as my son was born with CDH (Congenital Dislocation of the Hip) where he had no hip joint so needed one built. From 18 months old, there were in total 12 years of either operations, physio, care and support which have meant I am incredibly lucky to have a fit and healthy 17 year old son. Anything that can help to rehabilitate children from some form of trauma is an amazing thing. I've seen it and I very willingly support these charities that provide essential services and care.

Please support me as I look to smash my target in April - Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
