We rescue neglected or abused horses to rehabilitate, retrain and rehome them

Story

The National Equine Crisis goes on and horses are still suffering. Can you help us rescue more?

18 months ago we bought our new farm in North Devon: Upcott Park. In the past the farm was used for prize winning cattle, which means that a great deal of work needs to be done in order to make it suitable for horses. Yet the equine crisis isn’t over and our new farm is big enough to take many more horses. The sooner this work can be completed, the sooner we can rescue more horses in need.

Please support the Upcott Park Appeal by making a donation today.

You can also text AQUA86 to 70070 followed by your amount £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10. For example, AQUA86 £5.

The Mare and Foal Sanctuary was founded in 1988 by Rosemary Kind. In 1992, the Sanctuary became a registered charity. Our aims are not just to rescue neglected and unwanted horses and ponies but to rehabilitate, retrain and, where possible, rehome them in loving, knowledgeable environments.
