Last year, I appealed to my friends and family to help me raise money for The Citizens Foundation, an outstanding charity that runs over 800 schools throughout Pakistan, educating kids who would otherwise be trapped by fate and circumstance and giving them an opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty.

I was overwhelmed by the response: the donations made by friends and family helped me get to my target of £10,000 in just 21 days! The amount donated in aggregate was sufficient to fund an entire school for a year: DCD Campus in Rehmatbad, a secondary school that caters to 185 students.

So here I am again, asking you to donate again so we can continue funding DCD Campus. As with last year, I will match the first £5,000 in donations pound-for-pound and with the UK government's wonderful Gift Aid program, every pound you donate will be more than doubled.
