Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Steve Jones and Richard Lamb taking part in the Odd Ball Run 2016 for a Birmingham based Charity Free@Last.

We have purchased a rover metro for just under £300 and with the help of crown staff and suppliers, we have finally managed to get the thing road worthy with a suitable MOT certificate.

free@last was established in 1999. Our mission is to improve the lives of the children and young people of Birmingham. We do this by providing new opportunities (adventure, exploration, broadening horizons etc.), activities, mentoring and support for children and young people. To further their interests we also work with their families, other agencies and relevant professionals. We provide a range of youth clubs, sports, education and career programmes and family activities/residentials. We also run the Duke of Edinburgh Awards (DofE) scheme, Nechells Young Leaders programme, 1-2-1 and family mentoring and debt and benefit advice. As an innovative charity we also run 2 businesses (Freax Adventures and the Family Fun Zone]). These not only generate income for the charity, but employ local people, including teenagers.

Please help me to support those who are considerably less fortunate than ourselves and lets try and give these kids a 'leg up' to a better a brighter future.
