The Vocational Training Centre will equip young Roma boys and
girls with the confidence and skills they need in order to get a job and succeed
in a future career.
Empowering people to earn their living and put bread on
the table is really the most effective way to help someone out of poverty. As the
old saying goes: "Give a man a fish and you will feed him for one day! Teach
him how to fish and you will feed him for life!" The Training Centre
is going to do just that: feeding people for life!
Total cost of the project is £1 Million, but the Velux Foundations in Denmark have committed to donate 900,000 Euro, providing we bring our own financial contribution to cover the rest of the budget. For 2015 we only need to raise £40,000 in order to get the project started and keep it afloat. Can you help? Whether your support will come in the form of spreading the word, organizing events, praying for us or sending direct financial contributions, it will be very much appreciated and, needless to say, it will go a very long way!
With our love and very much appreciation from Romania,
Daniel and Ema
