Story
In the early hours of Friday 20th June 2014 our daughter Charlotte May Pountney was sadly born sleeping at Worcester Royal Hospital.
We were given a memory box which was donated by the charity Towards Tomorrow Together. This box included two teddy bears and two bracelets, one to rest with Charlotte and one for us to keep, amongst many other gifts. We found this extremely comforting at such a difficult time.
Towards Tomorrow Together relieve the distress experienced by parents that lose a baby through pregnancy, during birth or as an infant. They provide a variety of resources and services including: Butterfly Boxes to help create memories, cold cots, support groups and help in next pregnancy. On Saturday 5th July myself, Beckie and Ellie will be joining other families who have experienced such a sad loss on a sponsored walk in the Wyre Forest. We will be doing the 2 mile Woodpecker Trail. We do not wish for flowers at Charlotte's funeral on Friday 4th July but if our family & friends wish to make a donation then you can do by sponsoring us doing this walk in Charlottes memory via this page.
