Chabad spreads warmth to one and all - now you can help warm Chabad.

Unfortunately the heating and hot water system in the Chabad Centre has broken down and completely stopped working with no hope of being fixed (due to it being an old fashioned system with discontinued parts).  On the advice of professional engineers our only option is to replace the entire system. The cheapest price we can get for a new commercial system that the Centre needs is £11.900.

The Chabad Centre is in daily use by students  who come by for classes and events, Shabbat meals, use  its facilities or just to hang out and is also home to our large family (thank G-d), the youngest just 6 months old. Coupled with the frigid weather with no heat or hot water this has now become an emergency.

We have managed to get donations and pledges for £2.900 but still need another £9,000.

Although the heating system is ready to be installed immediately the company will only install it when 50 percent of the funds are paid up front and the rest upon completion.
