Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) is a safe and meditative space close to the city centre. It provides a peaceful, reflective and secure environment for women and men affected by different forms of sexual and ritual abuse to seek professional advice, counselling and support. It also provides complementary therapies, bodywork and support groups. Art and meditation are core factors for therapy. 

The Centre is a vital resource for all individuals living in Edinburgh and the Lothians, not just for those receiving support but also for families, friends and partners. On a wider scale, it raises awareness of how prevalent this issue is and the impact it has. The centre has been a lifeline for myself and other individuals and is supporting us in overcoming significant challenges. 
It is with enthusiasm, optimism and a passion to give something back that I approach all of you to dig deep and continue the support services running. 

So, our plan...

During the last week of August we plan on conducting a number of fundraising events to raise money for the centre. Events will be posted on the Facebook page so keep an eye out for things happening near you! 

In due course, an idea is to cycle 273 miles from John O'Groats to Edinburgh, taking in and tackling the beautiful yet challenging Scottish landscape. Each day will consist of approximately 30-50 miles of cycling depending on the terrain and we will enter a new town complete with accommodation and a station. Each individual is more than welcome to participate in as much (or as little) of the cycle as they wish, hence why our stops will consist of a station.
