Story

Dave was a member of Willingdon Cricket Club for the whole of his cricketing career. Dave was a great club man, who was liked and respected by all. Unfortunately, Dave was struck down by Cancer and he lost his battle in July 2014. During his final days, he was cared for brilliantly by the staff at St Wilfred's Hospice in Eastbourne, so we are trying to raise money as a club in Dave's memory. On Saturday 21st March 2015, members of our club are running/walking from Hastings Pier to Eastbourne Pier (15 miles) or cycling from Eastbourne Pier to Hastings Pier to Eastbourne Pier (30 miles) to raise money for St Wilfred's Hospice.
