As most of you will know my precious little man passed away on 4th may 2013- his 2nd birthday... after what was a perfect day. Riley was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect at 7 months and we were told at somepoint he may require open heart surgery.. this day didnt come. 3 days prior to his next heart check being due and 5 days after unrelated surgery Riley passed away suddenly, nothing and noone could save him.. his little heart wasnt strong enough and after 2 precious years he grew his wings.

Me, my family and some friends are walking 13 (ish) miles in memory of Riley on the 4th may 2014 to mark Rileys 3rd birthday and one year anniversary of his death.

Were walking from frettenham to Rileys grave- the final journey Riley took on the day he was laid to rest.

Already we have raised £480.70 for the childrens heart federation but have many events that we want to do.- the next fundraiser that the fitter members of the family are gearing up to do is a cycle ride from great ormond street to addenbrookes then onto the norfolk and norwich as Riley was under all three of these hospitals. hopefully this will go ahead later this year!
