Calling All Glasgow Businesses
We are looking for Glasgow based firms, big & small to take part in
a Glasgow themed Christmas song for the STV Children's Appeal!
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
PTS Clean Directors, Craig & Gary Hosie along with JacQui Lochhead
of Independent Family Trust Group have had the unique idea of a
"Glasgow" themed Christmas Song in the hope of raising funds for the
charity.
The song itself, a catchy little festive number & a tribute to the
wonderful City of Glasgow will be accompanied by a fun-filled video featuring
the participating businesses alongside some familiar faces, raising awareness
of the appeal in a suitably entertaining fashion :)

ABOUT THE STV CHILDREN'S APPEAL
The STV Children's Appeal was launched in 2011 by The Hunter Foundation and STV and aims to change the face of child poverty in Scotland.
It may surprise you to know that 1 in 5 children in Scotland are growing
up in poverty and there are parts of the country where every second child will
be affected by poverty.
Many of the children we are working to support live in the most severe
poverty, where there simply isn't enough money to pay for essential items such as winter coats, nutritious food and back-to-schools costs.
The money raised by the STV Children's Appeal helps make a real difference in the lives of Scotland's children and young people by providing practical help like food and warm clothes; creating opportunities for training and employability; and enabling social and emotional support for those who need it most.
In just 4 years the STV Children's Appeal has raised over £8.2 million. This has allowed us to make 297 big and small grants to projects across all 32 local authority areas in Scotland, providing much needed support to over 37,000 children.
The STV Children's Appeal is making a difference to the lives of these children but we need your help if we want to continue helping the many others like them.
Every penny of every pound raised here tonight will help the children
who need it most. STV's partnership with The Hunter Foundation means all
administration costs are covered.
All the money will stay right here in Scotland and we will support a
project in every one of Scotland's 32 local authorities.
