Alhamdulillah with the blessed month of Ramadhan upon us, myself and Nadira decided to do something for the sake of charity, particularly for Saba Relief. It all started off by recently attending a fundraising dinner for the charity and pledging to raise £500.00 for the people of Yemen. 

Yemen is a country which is undergoing a huge crisis at the moment. Lack of food, water, shelter and protection has led many people to flee from their homes in Yemen and reside in refugee camps in Djibouti. However, the situation has not got better and the intense heat has made it difficult for families to survive in such conditions. Unfortunately, countries such as Yemen are not spoken about in the media but they are still in need of help. 

Which is why we chose to raise money for such an important cause. Please help us to help Saba Relief provide the basic essentials such as food and water to the people of Yemen. Your donations, however small will make a huge difference to the lives of those who once had everything and now have nothing. 

Your £1, £2 or £5 will go on to provide essentials such as food packs, medication, water etc to help people to survive in such dire conditions. 

My favourite hadith which I hope will insha'Allah inspire you to give: 

“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

May Allah accept your charity and increase you in wealth Ameen.
